Arlington Man Shot and Killed at Jackson Square Apartments

Arlington, Texas. September 4, 2017

The Arlington Police Department responded to a shooting investigation at 501 Jackson Square around 11:12 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017. Officers located an unconscious man in his 30s lying on an upper walkway at the apartment complex with apparent gunshot wounds. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Detectives are still working to piece together what exactly transpired. At this time, no suspect has been identified. Investigators have canvassed the area and processed evidence at the scene. Detectives have not ruled out robbery as a possible motive. 

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin of notification has been made.
